Based in Hertfordshire, I specialise in landscape, architectural and documentary photography, examples of which are displayed in the Galleries.
Grounded in landscape photography, with an emphasis on tight composition to create a sense of order from the random and disparate elements of nature, I have more recently become interested in how photography can extend the limits of our perception of the world around us – to create, in the words of Susan Derges, photography which “offers the promise of being able to speak of the invisible rather than to record the visible”.
I attempt, through photography, to create a sense of the intangible, hinting at something beyond the confines of the frame, and I'm currently working on ideas which attempt to interpret abstract concepts through photographic imagery.
I am currently represented by Trevillion Images, “the home of inspirational photography”, and images are available for commercial use under licence from them.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like information on any of the images represented here.
